  • Hi Bryan! What are you studying?

    Teaching

  • Why did you choose to study in Australia?

There’s no better place to improve English skills than in a country full of unique slang and expressions that won’t be found elsewhere, like “G’day, mate” and “No worries”.

  • Why did you choose to study in Melbourne?

For people who’ve been tired of cold winters, please come here and say goodbye to snow, because it’s always sunny (well, almost always).

  • Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

For the amazing bedside TV, then I could be the pillow prince instead of a couch potato.

  • What is your favourite thing about being a student?

Pulling assignment-induced all-nighters as the perfect excuse for a daytime nap.

  • What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

Getting lost in the vast and intricate world of procrastination, and all of a sudden realise how short on time and how far behind progress.

  • So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

Absolutely the leftover pizza from food events, which I’ve hosted quite frequently. Just kidding (sort of). But seriously, it’s great to approach people with a friendly face and practice “how to make small talk” skills.

  • What is your favourite thing about Iglu?

No doubt the sense of community, I mean it, just like one big lovingly supportive family where we all share an obsession with fast food and procrastination.

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years, I see myself sitting on a throne made entirely of doughnuts, living in a magical castle made of cotton candy, and ruling over a kingdom of dessert-loving subjects.

  • What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese, please do consider your strategy wisely.
