  • Why did you choose to study in Australia?

    I have always wanted to study in Australia because of its diverse culture, renowned education system, and welcoming atmosphere for international students. The opportunity to immerse myself in a new way of life while receiving a world-class education is an invaluable experience for personal growth.

  • Why did you choose to study in Melbourne?

    I chose Melbourne because of its vibrant cultural scene, world-class universities, and reputation as one of the most livable cities in the world. The city’s diverse community, excellent public transport, and abundance of cafes, museums, and events create a fun and dynamic environment for students to create a life in.

  • Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

    I was searching for a student accommodation on Google and their warm and cozy website caught my eye. After further research learning about their location, room types and community, I thought this was a nicer place compared to the other options.

  • What is your favourite thing about being a student?

    I love meeting students from diverse backgrounds and learning about their unique life experiences. Engaging with different perspectives broadens my understanding of the world, and student life exposes me to new ideas, cultures, and ways of thinking, making my journey even more enriching.

  • What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

    Playing the piano has be my favorite thing to do outside of studies; it brings my mind to a whole other world where I can express myself freely and enjoy the wonders of music.

  • So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

    I love being able to organise events that I would personally love to do; seeing people enjoy doing what you love to do is very fulfilling and a great way to connect and make new friends.

  • What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?

    Can’t beat the rooftop view of the city at night while you hangout with your friends and chat about life 🙂 Personally I love to chill there alone after dark and just look into the Melbourne skyline.

  • What is your favourite thing about Iglu?

    The Iglu environment is perfect for making lifelong friends. The communal area at Iglu Melbourne Central is a great place to relax, socialise, and connect with people from all walks of life, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

    Wealthy and settled, leading a meaningful life with the people I love.

  • What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

    Attend events and breakfast, this is an amazing place to meet life-long friends.
