Why did you choose to study in Brisbane?
I decided to study in Brisbane as it provided me with a lot more opportunities for my studies, internships and other extra curricular activities. I also wanted to move away from home and learn to live independently and among other students.

What’s your favourite thing about being a student?
I love being a student as it gives me an amazing opportunity to meet people with similar interests and make new friends.

What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not studying?
My favourite thing to do when I’m not studying is chilling out with my roommates, going to the beach, and finding the next music festival to go to.

What’s your favourite thing about Iglu?
My favourite thing about Iglu is that you are living with a bunch of students that come from so many different parts of the world and have their own cultures and experiences that they can share with you and that you can learn from. I also love how close everyone is at Iglu which has helped me gain life long friendships and so many amazing memories. The location of Iglu is in the heart of the city and only a couple of blocks away from the university which is another thing that I love.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I hope to have a full time job in either marketing or journalism that allows me to travel all over the world.

What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?
I would let future residents know that they are not alone when they are moving and settling in. For many students when they move in they do not know any one else in Brisbane and this can be super daunting and scary. However, I want future Iglu residents to know it won’t take long to meet new people and form amazing life long friendships, which I have done during my stay at Iglu.
